I’m clocking K’s for R U OK?

This July, I’m taking on the K’s for R U OK? challenge to stay connected with others, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide. Where talking about how we feel is not shunned but encouraged!

Every day I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk, jog, run, wheel or ride to try and help start more life-changing conversations.

Chilly afternoon

Wednesday 29th Jun
Did not feel like walking in the slightest this afternoon, We have both been unwell (Thanks daycare!) but we got it done! We travelled a new route around our neighbourhood which clocked us exactly at 3kms 🙂👍

Gearing up!

A few days away from starting the #RUOK challenge again and I am currently reflecting on my "why" - It's safe to say it hasn't changed since last year! <3

My beautiful daughter I hope will grow up in a world that stops the stigma around mental health. I hope she knows that it's OK to be sad, or hurt, or troubled, and that she can talk to me about absolutely anything with zero judgement. The same for my friends, family and loved ones!

That's the world I want to live in. I have been cycling the last few days to ease myself into it but BRING-IT-ON! :)
