This July, I’m taking on the K’s for R U OK? challenge to stay connected, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide.

Every day I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk, jog,run, wheel or ride to help start more life-changing conversations.

Asking someone R U Ok? You could sole handedly change that persons mental state and soften whatever they are struggling with in that moment.. just knowing that someone cares. My team always turn up and support me when needed, they turn the worst day into something to smile about, hug me and be there by my side when the tears fall  and when words are too hard to speak.  We  like to keep others thinking  that we have it all together and it’s  not easy ask for help, but then what we keep inside weighs us down and affects our well-being. Just  by checking in and having a friendly chat including the words R U Ok? Can I do anything for you?  Exercising together or just having a chat or a laugh with friends while doing it, has definitely been  the balance to my everyday life and the pressures.
