I’m Clocking K’s for R U OK?

This July, I’m joining K’s for R U OK? to stay connected, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide.

Each week I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk (run, wheel or ride) to help start more life-changing conversations.

Beach walk

Sunday 21st Jul
2km walk along the beach. Water felt nice, waves were quite big. Some brave souls went for a swim. What a pity I didn't have my swimmers. I would of joined.

Walk walk walk

Saturday 20th Jul
Added 3 more K's to my target 🎯 with a lovely walk around thirroul and Wollongong But today all up I've done 10kms of just walking around.

Slow 2kms walk

Thursday 18th Jul
Today I did another 2 more K's almost hit my target of 50kms. Just a very slow walk around the place, as the got me all medicated. It's hard to stay awake. 

Gym walk

Wednesday 17th Jul
Today the first time in days. Managed to do 2kms in under 25mins on the treadmill.

Sunday 14th Jul
Lovely walk around Camden Farm today with my Dad and Gail. We clocked just over 3kms.

Friday 12th Jul
Yay go me, I just did 5kms towards my target 🎯 Went for a local walk to chillfest had a look around and walked back home. Feeling pretty sore.

Thursday 11th Jul
Another day of 2 more k's to add towards my target. Haven't updated on here since Monday. But everyday I've been knocking of these k's. So far done 36kms

Monday 8th Jul
Yay after today's walk of 4km, I have past my halfway mark.

Day 7

Sunday 7th Jul
Lovely walk in Camden today with Dad and Gail. They made the walk more pleasurable and also helped my clock another 3km off my target.

Boring walk in carpark. But knocked off 2 more K's.

Friday 5th Jul
Feeling a bit sore. Just walked the neighbourhood today but manage to do 4km.

Thursday 4th Jul
Body feels heavy, wanted to skip today but instead I pushed through and I did 4km today. Yay.. Super happy

Wednesday 3rd Jul
Today was pretty good nice flat walk around Harrington Park lake. Little flooded out there but I managed to still clock 3km off my target.

I thought yesterday was hard. Today the pain started. But another 3kms done ✅

Monday 1st Jul
Today day one and omgosh was it a struggle. But I clocked up just over 3kms for the start of this challenge. I just gotta remember why I'm doing this for and to believe I can.
