I’m Clocking K’s for R U OK?

This July, I’m joining K’s for R U OK? to stay connected, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide.

Each week I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk (run, wheel or ride) to help start more life-changing conversations.

Prahran Market

Thursday 25th Jul
Walked to Prahran Market, saw sooo much lovely food, coffee, flowers etc… so chill and not as many people as I thought, loved this walk today😁❤️

In Melbourne… walks

Wednesday 24th Jul
Been doing walks on the rooftop garden, treadmill and walks with walking group whilst staying at hospital, so still getting kms done…  nearly reached 60kms  of kms done, reaching my goal on time at present….😁😁

The stick shed

Tuesday 16th Jul
Had a walk around the stick shed in Murtoa this morning instead of usual walk around lake in Stawell… amazing structure 🥰

Bad morning broken sleep again

Going to walk around a market this morning  instead  I we’ll  walk later , too tired to walk Ed at 7… will take him for a drive at 830 as market opens at 9 and walk for half hr there 😁

Walking buddy walk this morning

I find when I walk with my friend, I walk further and I don’t even notice it as we chat a lot along the way.. normally walk 4-5km instead of 2 km of late. Haven’t been wanting to hang out with friends this last week due to being unwell with MH but need to push myself to be a bit social otherwise it’s not good for me… decided next week… hopefully… I’ll go into hospital for respite for 10 days or so to sort out a new dr for meds etc… here’s to ruok kms😁

1st walk, 1st July

Monday 1st Jul
Walked with Ed and friend around bushland for 5kms… Ed even got some ball play thrown in and drank from the lake when needed after play.

3 degrees in Stawell but felt like -1.. went out to watch sunrise but no walk… maybe this afternoon… slow morning🥶🥶

Been walking locally and around vineyards with friends from regional vic who I’ve known since primary school .. 🥰❤️

Went for a bush walk with Ed

Tuesday 18th Jun
Lovely walk in arvo Thurs with friend and Ed  in Stawell. Decided to go for 2 walks today, earlier walk around Cato Park, so 7kms all up with my doggo Ed.
