I’m Clocking K’s for R U OK?

This July, I’m joining K’s for R U OK? to stay connected, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide.

Each week I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk (run, wheel or ride) to help start more life-changing conversations.

By donating to my page you are helping R U OK? provide free, essential resources to schools, workplaces, families, and communities across Australia. Giving them the tools and confidence to spot the signs and to start a conversation that could change the life of someone who's struggling. And you'll be putting a big smile on my face.

Thank you so much.

By inspiring people to take the time to ask “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.

My Updates

We are underway

Monday 1st Jul
The challenge is now ON!

I look forward to having your support.

I started the challenge with a 5.19km walk in air temp of 5.3 degrees which was recorded as feeling like 1.3 degrees and a fresh South wind straight off the ocean…but  I loved it!!

I hope you enjoy the challenge my daughter Harper and I will undertake together!!

Have a great day!!

This years challenge

Sunday 30th Jun
This year, I get to approach the challenge as an ambassador. It's something I am really honoured to be doing and to be in the role of.

Since last year, the awareness and conversations around the challenge and reaching out with each has not stopped.
I have found that my mates and I have been more open with each other and checking in more frequently.
Alot of us are experiencing the life and times of trying to fit in life around being a parent, taxi service, working, social commitments and sometimes forget to make time for ourselves. I hope, my raising of awareness does hit home with others that it is OK to time out and reconnect with yourself, or to reach out for some help if needed.
This year, my Daughter Harper is joining in on the clocking of K's.
People are often curious about why a 7 year old is involved and the simple answer is that, it is never too early to raise awareness and to educate about Suicide prevention and that it is OK to not be OK.
Harper understands that one of my best friends passed through Suicide and each anniversary, Harper comes and throws her some flowers at the beach, while Daddy shares a drink.
This is becoming more impactful each year and Harper understands the importance and asks questions.
So, come along and join us as we cover some K's, raise unmeasurable awareness and raise some funds.
Every dollar we raise goes towards a combined total and this year, in its 5th year, the K' over July challenge is set to top $1 million raised.
Links are on my page.
The first few days of our challenge will be at the scenic Halls Gap here in Victoria, so I'll check back with some photos and K's done!!

Daddy daughter join forces

Tuesday 21st May
Last year when I did the challenge, my beautiful daughter Harper was my side kick motivating princess for sone days. Together we walked, skated and did super fun things like complete flying Fox and Maxe challenges in the rain and would do Daddy Daughter dates over a walk and milkshake.
Harper would ask about the challenge and despite only being 6 years old, I never shied away from the motivation behind the challenge, that being suicide prevention .
Harper wanted her own R U OK? Shirt and asked if we could do the challenge together next year….and here we are!!
We look forward to having you as part of this years challenge and as we get going and  work towards Pitt goals, as well as creating awareness, we would love and appreciate a donation. No amount is too.  big or too small. It all goes to support R U OK? and our wider community.
Daddy Nathan is  going to do 160km and Harper is  going to do 40km!!
Have a great day
