I’m Clocking K’s for R U OK?

This October, I’m joining K’s for R U OK? to stay connected, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide.

Each week I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk (run, wheel or ride) to help start more life-changing conversations.

By donating to my page you are helping R U OK? provide free, essential resources to schools, workplaces, families, and communities across Australia. Giving them the tools and confidence to spot the signs and to start a conversation that could change the life of someone who's struggling. And you'll be putting a big smile on my face.

Thank you so much.

By inspiring people to take the time to ask “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.

Tackling my biggest elevation ever!

Monday 6th Oct
This one’s for you, Cole 🩵 Not many K’s today, but as my Strava motivator reminded me — sometimes it’s not the distance, it’s the climb that matters. ⛰️ Over 15 years ago, I tried to tackle this walk on our back boundary with Tom and Cole. We made it halfway up the first steep climb before I sat down and said, “We’ll do it another day, I promise.” 🦋 Today, with the encouragement of my friend Sandra Phillott and Molly trotting beSandra Phillottand occasionally under my feet ), I finally kept that promise. I walked these back hills today for RUOK challenge and for Cole! Also as a reminder that some promises take time, strength, a good friend to walk with and healing to fulfil. 💛 Next time, I hope Tom, Jack and Rob will join me to stand together at the top and take in the view of our property, that is always there just waiting for us to come see it. 🌤️ https://ksforruok.ruok.org.au/fundraisers/robwyatt #KsforRUOK #RUOK #MentalHealthMatters #KeepYourPromise #ForCole 💙

Day 1

Wednesday 1st Oct
Well my walking partners Molly and Max absconded chasing Guinea Fowls this morning ( never happened before) even before we hopped in the Ute to go over the back to start our walk so that’s right I went solo! So glad to hear my sister all the way down in Victoria is going to try and match my walk distances the very next day!  Saw some cool moss growing on some rocks in the middle of the bush, we live on 300+ acres in FNQ so lots to explore. I will try and update this Blog as much as possible but clocked up 3.17km this morning, phew who needs the 🐾 anyway 🤣. They were at the house when I drove back in thankfully and I gave them the dog eye 😉. Till next time. Cheers Lenore and naughty Molly and Max!
