I’m Clocking K’s for R U OK?

When I was 19 my father (35) died by suicide and a year later my beautiful Aunty (33) lost her battle too. This shattered the worlds of each and every person who loved them. This year I turned 31 and at times I have really struggled knowing that I will soon pass them in age. I have heard many stories over the years from friends, family and strangers who have also been sadly affected by suicide. My heart breaks knowing so many people have a story like mine to tell, where their lives were forever changed because of suicide. I have seen the ripple effect suicide has on those left behind and yet at times I have had to fight through my own mental battle to not be another sad story in someone else's future. I want to help be the change, for my children, my loved ones, for the people who feel alone and especially for myself. Please help me in raising funds and awareness, through my Ksforruok challenge, as I aim to walk 100km in July and raise $333!

This July, I’m joining K’s for R U OK? to stay connected, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide.

Each week I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk, to help start more life-changing conversations.
