Clocking, K’s for R U OK?
I’m joining K’s for R U OK? to stay connected to my community, share my Mental Health story, develop healthy habits and cultivate awareness about suicide and preventions.
As someone who has been an advocate for Mental Health awareness and the importance of it all for more than a decade, this challenge will help remind myself and others how important you are.
I have had my fair share of experiences of being diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, experienced checking-in to wards, calling hotlines services and healthily continue to see my Psychologist and take medication.
This challenge is symbolic and important to help normalise this and how it is NEVER bad to ask for help.
Each week I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk, (run, walk or ride) to help start more life-changing conversations via Strava.
By donating to my page you are helping R U OK? provide free, essential resources to schools, workplaces, families, and communities across Australia - which is bloody incredible!
By inspiring people to take the time to ask “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.
Never forget how important and vital you are to our lives and being here on Earth.
Giving you so much hugs through this page!

The fact that this conversation opener has helped myself and others in my community is vital. In a day and age that is about perception and perfection, it's beautiful to see that Mental Health conversations is becoming part of the every day check-in and to everyone's lifestyles.
I plan to run, walk and do whatever I can to help advocate and achieve my goal for this challenge.
Please help myself and others donate to a great cause!
