I’m Clocking K’s for R U OK?

This July, I’m joining K’s for R U OK? to stay connected, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide.

Each week I'll be consistent in my clocking as I walk, (run, roll or ride) to help start more life-changing conversations. 

By donating to my page you are helping R U OK? provide free, essential resources to schools, workplaces, families, and communities across Australia. Giving them the tools and confidence to spot the signs and to start a conversation that could change the life of someone who's struggling. And you'll be putting a big smile on my face.

Day 12

Wednesday 12th Jul
I’ve been going ok with my Ks despite some motivational issues! I’ve been enjoying being back on my Bike trainer. 

What’s given me extra encouragement has been the Facebook group with people sharing stories of connection. There is a real community of encouragement and support and it’s a safe space to share life’s ups and downs without judgement.

Day 3

Monday 3rd Jul
So I’m up to 3 days of the challenge, knowing that I’m travelling for the latter half. I need to load up my Ks before I travel in case I don’t have as much opportunity to get out there. I’m going to try though.

T-1

Friday 30th Jun
Hi Everyone,

It's T-1 and I'm gearing up to clock my K's throughout the month of July. I've set myself an ambitious target and am hoping that I can get some cheers along the way. 

I'm trying to get to 248KM's which is based on 10,000 steps a day but will need to do some cycling on my indoor trainer as well as walking but I know that with each step I will be raising awareness for people struggling with their mental health.

I won't be wearing this when I'm training but hopefully it puts a smile on your face as I try and meet my goal.
