I’m Clocking K’s for R U OK?

I'm joining in again K’s for R U OK? to stay connected, develop healthy habits and help to create a world where we're connected and protected from suicide.

By donating to my page you are helping R U OK? provide free, essential resources to schools, workplaces, families, and communities across Australia. Giving them the tools and confidence to spot the signs and to start a conversation that could change the life of someone who's struggling. And you'll be putting a big smile on my face.

I will never allow my brother Heath to be forgotten nor will his name ever fade 🐝 and on the flip side I don't want any of my family or friends to experience the significant loss of what mental health can have 💔
Grief is a strange journey when your loved one has decided to take themselves home. We are left with the -
Why's?
Why, didn't they phone like they always have?
Why, didn't they speak up?
Why, didn't they leave whatever was bogging them down?
Why, on the exterior, were they tough as hell?
Why, were they always there for me and never told me how badly they were struggling?
Why, didn't they know someone was there who would have helped in that moment?
Why, didn't I ask them R U OK more often?

As long as I am able, I will push as hard as ever to keep going, showing up, fighting my own struggles, loving to my core and living life to the utter fullest, knowing that is what he would want.

Sibling love is a grief I never imagined I would feel until I was grey and old. He took a piece of me the day he went to heaven & I will never be the same.

I will be fundraising in hopes to raise $10,000 for our team Doin'It4Heath and will be determined to walk / run 200kms 🫶🔥

I will be knocking out 66.3km by doing a city to rural pub crawl. Sparking conversations along our way!!

I can not thank my friends who have become family, unfortunately never having the chance to meet Heath but so willingly supporting me by walking as a team ❤️

THANKS!

Sacha, Adam, Clint, Tina & Elise 💛🖤🐝

Whilst Heath will be enjoying some nice cold Jacks and feeding his face with a plate full of smoked meat, I'll gain some fitness, share in some unforgettable memories and spark conversations

Watch this space, and don't be scared to join in my team or donate!

Let's save a life one step at a time! ❤️

Thank you so much!!

By inspiring people to take the time to ask “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.

Fueling the Journey – A Huge Cheers to Our Local Legends 🖤

Wednesday 18th Jun

As we will continue putting in the kilometres to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, it's the generosity of our local community that keeps us moving—literally.

Along our track, we’ve been incredibly lucky to have the support of some amazing pubs, hotels, and butchers who are making sure we’re not just walking with purpose, but walking well-fed and well-supported.

🍽️ A massive thank you to:

  • The Cavenagh Hotel, Darwin

  • The Midway, Berrimah

  • Berry Springs Tavern

These local legends are helping keep our bellies full and our energy high by feeding us along the way. After a long stretch on foot, sitting down to a meal in good company means more than words can express.

Their hospitality is a reminder that real support shows up in all kinds of ways—and this is community spirit at its finest.

🥩 And the support doesn’t stop there! A big shoutout to Palmerston Quality Meats, who have generously donated a meat tray to be raffled off at our final stop. Not only is this a delicious way to support the cause—it’s a brilliant way to raise funds and awareness in one go.

We still have a few more pubs and hotels to reach out to, and we’re hopeful more incredible venues will come on board. Every contribution, big or small, helps spark conversations that could change—or even save—a life.

So please, next time you’re out for a meal or grabbing something for the BBQ, consider supporting these amazing businesses who are supporting us.

Together, we’re walking, talking, and reminding each other that it’s OK to not be OK—and that no one has to walk alone.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Incredible Sponsors Because Together, We Make a Difference!

As we continue to walk, talk, and raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health this July, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the amazing organisations who have stepped up and supported our journey: MEC NT, BMI Training, and Darwin Port.

Your generosity and belief in the importance of starting meaningful conversations have not only helped us hit the ground running but have reminded us that community is everything.
This campaign isn't just about kilometres walked—it’s about lives touched. It’s about the people we’ve lost, the ones still struggling, and the moments we’ve all faced silently in the dark. Thanks to your support, we are shining a light in those places.

To MEC NT – Thank you for backing our cause with heart and purpose. Your support shows that mental health matters across every industry and that compassion is part of leadership.

To BMI Training – Your belief in this initiative reflects the strength of your values and your commitment to building not just skilled workers, but strong, supported communities.

To Darwin Port – Your generous donation and encouragement have added incredible momentum to our mission. Knowing we have your team behind us is a reminder of the powerful ripple effect kindness and connection can create.

We don’t take your support lightly. It fuels our purpose, lifts our spirits, and empowers us to keep walking for those who no longer can—and for those who still need to know they’re not alone.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for walking beside us.
Are they really OK? Ask them today.
