Walking through Grief, one step at a time!

Monday 16th Jun

This October, I'll be walking 100 km, in honour of my beautiful Son. Whose life was cut short by Suicide.

No parent should ever have to write these WORDS... No parent should have to live this reality, but I do! Every step I take in October is for him- and for anyone who has ever felt lost, unheard, or alone.

Grief is not linear. Some days it's a quiet ache other days it's a tidal wave, but through the noise of sorrow, one truth keeps me moving; we need to talk more. We need to ask, we need to listen, and we need to check in- really check in- with the people we Love.

That's why I joined the cause to pledge to walk 100km's for SUICIDE PREVENTION. It's not just about distance, it's about making a visible, physical commitment to breaking the Mental Health.

Each kilometre is a conversation. A reminder.

This isn't easy, but nothing about Suicide is. What is easy is starting a conversation. A simple question might not solve everything, but it could be the light someone needs in their darkest moment.
